Конкурс молодых хореографов — ключевое событие фестиваля Context. Diana Vishneva. В этот вечер финалисты конкурса представят работы, которые создали специально для фестиваля. Кроме этого, посетителей ждут премьеры: работа Ольги Тимошенко, победительницы конкурса прошлого года, в исполнении танцовщиков Музыкального театра имени К. С. Станиславского и Вл. И. Немировича-Данченко, а также бессюжетный одноактный спектакль «Статуя Свободы» в постановке Анны Щеклеиной, финалистки 2018 года, и Александра Фролова (танцевальная компания Zonk’a), который дуэт поставил совместно с исполнителями «Провинциальных танцев». Конкурс проводится в рамках международного фестиваля современной хореографии Context. Diana Vishneva с 2013 года. За эти годы из маленького экспериментального проекта конкурс вырос в самостоятельное направление фестиваля со своей структурой, программой и аудиторией. Сейчас это более 200 заявок со всей России, 1500 зрителей в зале и больше 130 тысяч зрителей онлайн, обширная параллельная программа, лучшие площадки двух столиц и гастрольные туры.

The young choreographers competition has become the main event of the Context. Diana Visheva festival. This evening some of the best young choreographers, finalists of the Young Сhoreographers Competition of Context. Diana Vishneva will present their new works, created for the festival. Exclusive performances of the evening will be created by Olga Timoshenko, the winner of 2018, and Anna Schekleina (finalist of 2018) performed by dancers from russian dance companies. The competition has been held annually since 2013 as part of Context. Diana Visheva contemporary dance festival. Over the years, it has evolved / grown into / to become a flagship event with its own structure, programme and audience. Over the years, it has evolved from a small experimental project to a major event with its own structure, programme and audience. Today the competition attracts over 200 applicants hailing from every corner of Russia, draws a live audience of about 1500 people and an online audience of over 130 000 people for its finale, has an extensive parallel programme, offers the participants an opportunity to showcase their creations at some of the best venues of Moscow and St. Petersburg and even go on tour.
